Pattaya Price Updates 2026: What Changed and When

22 September 2026. First edition of the guide published. All prices as verified in September 2026.

15 September 2026. Thailand cut the visa-free stay for most nationalities, including the US, UK, EU and Australia, from 60 days to 30. A one-time 30-day extension is available at the immigration office for about ฿1,900. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is still required for every arrival and is free. Any page or guidebook that still says 60 days is out of date.

10 April 2026. The Pattaya baht bus (songthaew) fare rose from ฿10 to ฿15 on the Beach Road and Second Road loops and ฿20 on the longer Jomtien and Naklua runs. This is the figure used in the guide.

What we check, and how often

The baht-bus fare, the Koh Larn ferry fare and last-boat time, entry prices at the Sanctuary of Truth, Nong Nooch, the Floating Market and the Big Buddha, airport and Bangkok coach fares, and the visa and arrival-card rules are re-checked at least monthly. Hotel rates are a snapshot from a booking search for December stay dates and move daily, so treat the guide’s rate list as a shortlist and use the trip cost planner for a current figure.
