Getting there. Airport bus, Bangkok coaches, the train, taxi and Grab fares from Suvarnabhumi, and the visa change that took effect on 15 September 2026.
Where to stay and what each area costs. Cheapest, median and priciest nightly rates for eleven areas from a search of 130 Pattaya hotels, plus the rooms that scored well without costing much and the ones under ฿1,000 that are still rated 8 or better.

Fares and entry prices move. The baht-bus fare went up in April 2026 after years at ฿10, and the visa-free allowance changed in September. When something in the guide moves, the correction goes on the Pattaya price updates page first, and the next edition of the PDF picks it up. If you downloaded the guide more than six months ago, check there before you budget.
